    This book helps children to learn the sounds that make up words: sounds ranging from single letters/vowels and combined letters to the more difficult silent letters.
Every page is attractively designed, featuring one or two phonetic sounds with examples in words, short sentences and rhymes. Children will enjoy the rhythm, rhyme and humour of the examples and the colourful illustrations. An accompanying audio CD reproducing the examples and rhymes with music enhances children’s pleasure of learning.

    The category of each sound is identified at the beginning of every page, e.g. Letter Sounds, Long Vowel Sounds, Double Consonants, etc. Extra information related to the target sound is also given in specially designed boxes throughout the book. The information either cross refers to similar sounds on other pages or makes comparison between long and short sounds or variations in similar sounds.
